This is an AHA/BJCP Sanctioned competition and all judges will receive their points. Osiris's Homebrewing Competition is going to be held during the local Durango, Colorado festival of Snowdown, which is a giant party in downtown Durango. The theme for this years Snowdown happens "Life's a Beach." The competition will be held at the new SKA brewing in Bodo Park(225 Girard St, Durango, Colorado 81303). It will be held on the 30th of January, 2010. The competition itself is a preliminary for the 2009 GABF Pro/Am, meaning that the winner’s recipe will be brewed in large scale for both production and judging in the Pro/Am. The winning recipe will be brewed in a SKA Local Series single batch to be sold at their brewery and in stores. The recipe’s inventor will oversee the large scale production of the malt beverage in Durango, Colorado with SKA Brewing.
